Essex Hotel Management has begun construction of the 97-unit hotel with 1,100 square feet of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool and an exercise facility. The hotel is expected to open during the summer of 2013 and will be managed by Essex.
The property is owned by The Hotel at Mirror Lake LLC, a company formed by the Lussi Family of Lake Placid, who own and operate the Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club in Lake Placid, and E. Philip Saunders of Rochester, who owns three other hotels, including a Hampton Inn & Suites in Fredericksburg, Va.
