Essex Hotel Management

Barbara primarily oversees business development and relationship management. She brings over 30 years of experience in real estate and finance. She joined an affiliate of Essex in 1983 and over the years previously served as CFO and COO for the company, where her responsibilities included oversight of hotel operations, asset management, finance, and structuring and securing capital for the company’s portfolio. She is qualified as a Receiver in New York State. Barbara previously served on the Microtel Franchise Advisory Committee, is a member of the management committee for the Greater Rochester Housing Partnership Tax Credit Funds and serves on the boards of several community agencies. She graduated from Northern Arizona University and earned an MBA from the University of Rochester.
